The company
DEVELOPMENT OF SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS FOR INDUSTRIES
REM Software & Automation is a software house based in Modena. It was established in 2002 to meet the specific needs expressed by system and automatic machine manufacturers to achieve full integration between electromechanical design and control software design.
The increasing demand for process automation has allowed us to grow steadily over the years to our current size. Today, we serve customers worldwide and have 40 employees, including 35 software developers working in three teams:
PROGRESS FOR AUTOMATION
Since 2017, REM Software & Automation has invested in the development of data collection applications for Industry 4.0, becoming a benchmark in the sheet-forming machine sector.
Since 2020, the company has dedicated additional resources to new data collection and programming assistance applications to be installed on major mobile platforms.
In 2022, with great pride, REM Software & Automation exhibited its products at the Euroblech 2022 international trade fair in Hanover for the first time.
OUR HISTORY

January 2002: the company was founded and employed two people
October 2002: first installation of automatic warehouses for logistics
May 2003: new partners joined and the first applications for the sheet forming were developed

June 2004: an agreement was signed with Lazersafe Pty LTD for the distribution of safety PLCs for press brake machines
April 2006: the headquarters relocated to Via Fanti and the staff was increased to seven people

January 2014: the headquarters relocated to Via dei Falegnami and the staff was increased to eleven people

March 2017: the development of Industry 4.0 applications was started. REM employs 16 people
October 2018: new premises in Via Repubblica Val Taro were purchased

April 2019: relocation to the new premises REM employs 25 people
September 2020: the development of applications for mobile platforms was started

June 2022: the office extension work was started
October 2022: participation in the Euroblech 2022 trade fair

Today: REM has installed 3000 Industry 4.0 licences and employs 35 people
